Parent and Student FSA ID accounts must be created three days before this event

What is FAFSA?

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a form that needs to be filled out to be eligible for:

  • Grants- financial aid that doesn't have to be repaid

  • Work Study- a work program to earn money to help pay for school

  • Loans- borrowed money for college or career school; this must be paid back, with interest

What do students need to bring?

  • A Parent or Legal Guardian

  • The Parent's or Guardian's 2023 taxes and student's 2023 taxes (if they filed)

Students who complete their FAFSA at the workshop will be entered into a chance to win scholarships from the New Mexico Educational Assistance Foundation.
