At Tucumcari Elementary School, we understand the challenges and frustrations caused by the new drop-off and pick-up process at the end of the day. We heard your concerns, and with close monitoring, we found that the new system did not meet TPS expectations.
Therefore, the original drop-off and pick-up process will revert back on Monday, August 18, 2025. PK-2 students will be dropped off and picked up on the A-Side of the building, with the exception of Kindergarten—dropped off on the A-Side and picked up on 9th Street. Grades 3-4 will be dropped off and picked up at the B-Side Office, and 5th grade students will be picked up on 11th Street. Buses will return to the large parking lot for both drop-off and pick-up.
K-5th grade students will be dismissed from their classrooms at 3:45 PM.
